About us

Pensions are making headlines. People are living longer, and need to save more for later life.

The Government has introduced a number of major reforms to the pensions system. At The Pensions Regulator, the UK regulator of work-based pension schemes, you can contribute to making these changes a success.

Our job is to protect people’s pensions. Working with our partners, we strive to create better outcomes in later life for workplace savers, drive up standards across the pensions community and improve savers’ understanding of their situation.

Our principle aim is to prevent problems emerging. We do this through education and enablement of the pensions community, but also through enforcement action where necessary.

We provide an exciting, supportive and flexible working environment, and are committed to helping our people meet their full potential.
