All pension schemes registered with HM Revenue and Customs must also register with The Pensions Regulator.  Information contained in the pension scheme register is 'restricted information'. The Pensions Act 2004 places restrictions on release of information gathered in the course of our regulatory functions. Any information which falls within the definition of 'restricted' under this act will be exempt from release under the Freedom of Information Act.
