Under the Freedom of Information Request Act 2000, can you please answer the following questions regarding your organisation's current security and fire products and services.

  1. Does your organisation currently have a contract for security alarms, CCTV and fire detection?
  2. When this contract(s) is due to end?
  3. Who are these contract(s) with?
  4. How many devices are supplied and what manufacturer are they?
  5. Were these items purchased using procurement framework, if so which framework was used?
  6. When does your organisation intend to tender for these services?

Duty to confirm or deny whether TPR holds the information requested

I can confirm that The Pensions Regulator (TPR) holds the information you have requested.

Information we are able to supply

  1. Does your organisation currently have a contract for security alarms, CCTV and fire detection?
    • We hold a contract for our intruder alarm system maintenance, and for our ID card access system. All other work falls under our facilities management contract.
  2. When this contract(s) is due to end?
    • The intruder alarm system contract is due for renewal 31 January 2017.
    • ID card access system contract is due for renewal 30 September 2018.
    • Facilities management contract is due for renewal February 2017 though a further extension period is available to utilise.
  3. Who are these contract(s) with?
    • The intruder alarm supplier is Chubb, the ID card access system contract is held with Stanley Security, and the facilities management contract is with Mitie.
  4. How many devices are supplied and what manufacturer are they?
    • Security access controller x4.
    • Chubb intruder alarm system.
  5. Were these items purchased using procurement framework, if so which framework was used?
    • The Mitie contact was procured via a government framework, the remaining two were procured through a competitive tender.
  6. When does your organisation intend to tender for these services?
    • We intend to tender for the intruder alarm contact at the end of 2016, and in early 2018 for the ID card access contract. A decision will be taken on the procurement route for our facilities management contract towards the end of 2016.
