    Prohibition of trustees

This section includes a statement on our power to prohibit a person from being a trustee if the Determinations Panel is satisfied that they are not 'fit and proper' person. This is known as a prohibition order.

      Section 89 reports

Section 89 reports which relate to the regulator's consideration of clearance, moral hazard powers and prohibition or trustee appointment powers.

The Pensions Regulator has a range of powers that it can use to intervene and help put things right, where necessary. The process used to decide if we will use one of these powers is called a 'determination'.
