The Pensions Regulator has published Relations with Advisers guidance to help trustees make the best use of the expertise that advisers and service providers can bring to a pension scheme.
The best practice guidance outlines key issues trustees may wish take into account when appointing a new adviser or reviewing the performance of an existing adviser; and issues to consider in order to get the best service from current advisers.
The guidance also highlights additional online resources, including the regulator's Trustee toolkit, which outlines the importance of working with advisers.
