Information we are able to supply
The Pensions Regulator (TPR) has been made aware of the total of 4,042 notifiable events in the given financial years.
When TPR is aware of the other party having failed to notify of certain notifiable events, explanation may be sought through Customer Support. However, when we believe there may be basis for enforcement, an enquiry / case is opened by TPR. A total of five enquiries and one case into breach of section 62 of the Pensions Act 2004 (failure to notify) were opened in the years 2016-17 and 2017-18.
Out of the six entities (enquiries / cases), two enquiries reached a power of execution stage with a total of £400 in fines being issued in 2017-18.
I have broken down the information as follows:
|Enquiries / cases||Data not held||1||0||1||4||6|
|Value of penalties||Data not held||0||0||0||£400||£400|
