We’re looking for a talented Sitecore Technical Architect to:

  • Produce technical designs for TPR Enterprise systems that involve Sitecore CMS
  • Deliver proof of concept and guidance to support technical designs
  • Consult with business stakeholders on the use and application of Sitecore CMS within TPR to understand use-cases for Sitecore within the organisation and to make the most of the platform
  • Support the implementation of solutions in IT Development via effective leadership on solutions development teams
  • Drive architectural practices forward within the organisation by actively participating in architecture CoP and influencing technology choice in IT


  • Work with Solution Architects on Sitecore components, architectures and solutions aligned to the corporate strategy for TPR as well as Business, Data and Enterprise Architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership to solutions, infrastructure and development teams and set example for teams through hands-on development, detailed technical design sessions, focus on documentation and other quality assurance activities.
  • Support developing IT technical solutions to solve business problems and achieve TPR (ToM) business objectives.
  • Contribute towards the development and implementation of TPR’s IT and Data strategy using a 'Cloud First' Microsoft based solutions.
  • Continuously improve Architecture, Development, Applications, DevOps methodologies, processes and standards including ‘best practice’ and policies relating to TPR’s solutions and their development.
  • Work individually and in consultation with others to research, analyse and produce effective and efficient designs.
  • Design effective solutions by choosing the appropriate technologies, frameworks and approaches for TPR.
  • Subject Matter Expertise for Sitecore and TPR portals.

Essential criteria

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Sitecore CMS, its capabilities, strengths and weaknesses.
  • Current and up-to-date knowledge of latest Sitecore CMS developments, including an awareness of upcoming features and trends.
  • Expertise regarding Sitecore hosting and licensing models.
  • Deep, practical understanding of the software development lifecycle for Sitecore-driven applications, including both ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core and JSS approaches. 
  • Experience of integrating Sitecore CMS with third party applications and frameworks, including D365.
  • Knowledge and practical experience working in MS Azure to produce technical designs.
  • Broad understanding of the different services available in Azure and the role they play; good understanding of networking in MS Azure. 
  • Highly skilled in communicating across the organisation to convey technical designs and:
    • engage with stakeholders to understand pain points, processes and requirements for change
    • able to discuss technical designs with users of varying levels of technical ability
    • able to play a vital role in assessing technology risk and practicality as part of the Technical Design Authority
    • communicating effectively with development teams to ensure technical designs are produced accurately and in high quality
  • Possessed of keen attention to detail, able to uplift the practice of architecture in the organisation by:
    • delivering highly detailed technical designs for new systems and processes, as well as providing better documentation for existing ones
    • working effectively with development team leadership to ensure that standards and practices are adhered to
