Role

We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to join our team of Scrum Masters, operating within an exciting and dynamic company-wide technology change programme – SSRA – which will see the development and delivery of new systems enabling us to support regulatory activity in the business. You will work alongside other Scrum Masters in an agile environment and this particular Scrum Master position will provide expertise to the Data Migration and Document Migration workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • provide leadership to the Data Migration and Document Migration workstreams
  • define, establish and operate appropriate project approach and structure in line with our hybrid agile/traditional change governance standards
  • provide leadership to build effective and collaborative project teams with a shared sense of direction in a matrix environment
  • identify, estimate, secure and manage resources and budget required for project delivery to inform resource assignment up to an enterprise level
  • identify, evaluate and proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies to project delivery to inform impacts to delivery, including portfolio impacts
  • gather and present information with options and recommendations to enable informed decision making by stakeholders up to Executive Director and Portfolio Oversight Board level
  • for the respective workstreams, lead on the agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, demos, PI planning etc
  • manage medium transactional projects up to large transformational projects as required

Essential and desirable criteria

  • successful management and delivery of medium – large scale digital and data projects and/or programmes within time/cost/quality tolerances using Agile approaches
  • extensive experience of applying industry recognised project management methodology (eg traditional and agile) to achieve successful delivery of medium to large scale projects within agreed tolerances of time, cost and quality.
  • accredited to Practitioner level in an industry recognised Agile project management methodology (e.g. SAFe SM, APMG Certified Agile Project Management Practitioner, AgilePgM etc.) or equivalent experience
  • applied Agile change governance through full lifecycle from receipt of request through to implementation
  • expert use of Azure DevOps
  • highly skilled at stakeholder management at all levels and facilitation to be able to conclude discussions and reach consensus where multiple stakeholders may have multiple conflicting needs
