Role

We’re looking for a Network and Telephony Analyst to be part of the Infrastructure Team within the Corporate Services Directorate. You will be responsible for the administration and development of the network and telephony technical architecture within TPR.

In addition to the day-to-day administration and provision of support for all data network and telephony services, you will be required to provide technical support to projects. This is an 850-person company based in Brighton with small contact centre services of around forty people. TPR is a Cisco and Microsoft Azure based service.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver and maintain the technical infrastructure that underpins operational services.
  • Assist the Line Manager in the effective day-to-day management of network and telephony services.
  • Ensure that system builds are consistent and manageable, implementing and utilising proactive monitoring tools, where possible.
  • Provide support to the other support teams for the resolution of complex incidents.
  • Undertake root cause analysis of reported faults, design and implement enduring solutions to problems.

Essential and desirable criteria

  • Cisco Network Administration qualifications (CCNA or better).
  • Azure networking experience.
  • Experience in deploying a Teams-based phone service and engaging with a modern workplace.
  • Demonstrable experience of support and maintenance of telephony services across a data network.
  • Extensive support of modern call centre services.
