We're looking for a paralegal to provide high quality support for TPR's enforcement litigation.


You will:

  • provide support to enforcement case teams through the efficient management of documents using TPR's document management software or external software, including filing, collation, indexing, printing and bundling
  • assist in document review and disclosure exercises, including searching for relevant evidence, identifying privileged material, listing, reviewing and redacting documents
  • conduct legal research and assist in maintaining know-how database
  • liaise with counsel and other external parties
  • record and monitor legal costs
  • provide administrative support at Determinations Panel (DP), tribunal and court hearings
  • format, produce and arrange service of legal documents
  • file documentation with the DP / tribunal / court to required deadlines
  • depending on prior experience and satisfactory completion of training, draft tribunal pleadings and appear at hearings on behalf of TPR
  • take witness statements
  • provide general administrative assistance, including drafting agendas and minutes of meetings

Essential and desirable criteria


  • law degree or equivalent (CPE / GDL, CILEx Level 6)
  • very strong IT skills, including experience of standard IT software applications, document management systems and electronic disclosure platforms
  • client-focused approach


  • vocational legal qualification (LPC, BPTC, CILEx Graduate Fast-track Diploma)
  • previous paralegal experience, in particular in a regulatory, commercial or criminal litigation environment strongly desirable
  • working knowledge of civil and/or criminal procedure rules and court practice
  • previous experience of document review and disclosure exercises
  • knowledge of general principles of public law, data protection and freedom of information
