Role

We are seeking an experienced PMO Analyst who has a project and programme background covering all aspects of project governance with  a background in Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

  • work with the PMO Lead to manage all aspects of Project Management Governance and controls
  • gather, distil and analyse information to generate reports and MI to demonstrate programme status and delivery
  • assure project delivery identifying key risks and issues, report to stakeholders and work with PMs to develop mitigation plans
  • work with the Planning and Resource Lead to implement reporting and controls to provide key performance and delivery metrics
  • support the Planning and Resource Lead in forecasting and tracking resource capacity and use on the Programme
  • work with the Programme Management Team (PMO) to define and implement best practice for the PMO
  • support implementation of Agile Ways of Working
  • business Stakeholder Management
  • define and document procedures for the use of Azure Dev Ops across the Programme.
  • active participation in the Community of Practice within TPR to develop and improve planning methodology

Essential and desirable criteria

Essential

  • have experience of Agile and SAFe in a Programme environment
  • extensive experience and ability to collate, effectively present and communicate complex information and data from across functions
  • experience assuring projects through review of at project plans, controls, quality of delivery and  ensuring adherence to TPR project governance
  • lead others to follow best practice and governance standards
  • strong co-ordination, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively

Desirable

  • have experience of using Azure Dev Ops (or similar i.e.: Jira) to a high standard
  • formal Project Management and PMO qualifications such as Prince2, P3O
  • experience producing management information to enable and inform strategic and operational decision making up to and including Executive and Board level
