We're looking for an automatic enrolment project adviser to provide specialist administrative support for project management activities and business as usual services across the Automatic Enrolment Service Delivery Team.

This role has a focus on supporting the planning, reporting and risk management activity to ensure that the automatic enrolment business-as-usual services delivered by our outsourced partner Capita are effectively managed and to support the delivery of change.


You will:

  • support workstreams across the service delivery team with project and operational planning administration
  • assist with and maintain appropriate systems and processes to enable effective planning and scheduling 
  • monitor outsourcer's plans for change, identifying potential gaps, issues or slippage escalating to the project manager and service managers
  • organise key meetings/workshops including senior board meetings, take minutes and proactively record/monitor actions and risks
  • work with the project manager and service managers to define asset and document management

Essential Criteria  

  • experience providing project support ideally within a PMO environment and to project managers and teams
  • experience working on business and IT change programme/projects
  • knowledge of different project management frameworks and methodologies (ie: Agile)
  • a clear understanding and working knowledge of project management best practices and principles, and risk and issue management techniques
  • proficient in Excel, Word and knowledge of MS Project
  • occasional travel to Reading and Birmingham will be required
