We’re looking for someone to help deliver and maintain tactical and strategic web applications to the business. This person will design, estimate, develop and test new web application systems as defined by project portfolios and product backlog. They will provide support for production systems by triaging, investigating and fixing defects. They will maintain a high standard of software quality, through code reviews, knowledge sharing, mentoring and process improvement.


You will:

  • analyse, estimate and prioritise work items to achieve the best outcome
  • work individually and within multi-disciplinary teams to develop new web applications and solve problems in production systems
  • deliver code that uses appropriate technology choices and design patterns within the technical standards defined by the development team
  • produce innovative solutions and recommend appropriate technologies to the team

Essential and desirable criteria


  • Knowledge of full software lifecycle development gained through broad practical experience of building web applications.
  • Deep understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Experienced in using TypeScript to create strongly typed web applications.
  • Good understanding of specific front-end libraries and frameworks, eg Angular, ReactJS, SASS, webpack.


  • Experience and understanding of the use of agile methodologies to plan, develop, test and deliver software.
  • Experience with web content management systems, eg WordPress, Sitecore, Netlify.
