We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our phone system that is not allowing our staff in certain teams to answer incoming calls.

We are working to resolve this problem as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We can investigate a range of concerns you may have, including:

  • missing contributions into your pension scheme
  • your employer is unwilling to pay your contributions
  • your contributions are being persistently paid late
  • you think your employer may be acting fraudulently or dishonestly with your pension contributions
  • your employer isn't complying with their legal duties to provide a workplace pension
  • you suspect malpractice, dishonesty or fraud in your workplace pension, or have significant concerns about how it is being run

The Pensions Regulator (TPR) is a data controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We process personal data we hold for the purpose of the exercise of any of our statutory functions and objectives. We may also process personal data under other legislation such as the Fraud Act. This includes, for the avoidance of doubt, taking regulatory or enforcement action for breach of any of these legislation

When you contact TPR we collect your information to enable us to respond to your query. We record all calls made to us for training and compliance purposes. Your contact details will be shared with ORC International who may contact you on TPR’s behalf to take part in a survey in order to improve our customer service. If you do not wish to take part in the survey please let ORC International know. Where you provide personal data of another individual as part of your enquiry we ask that you ensure you have the necessary consent or authority to do so.

We will only store your personal data for as long as TPR’s retention schedule allows. During this time, you may be able to exercise certain rights in relation to your personal data such as the right to access, objection and data portability. If you feel that we have handled your personal data in a manner inconsistent with your rights, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
