If you suspect your scheme is operating as a master trust and haven’t applied for authorisation, you must immediately notify us by emailing RegulatoryTransactionsMailbox@tpr.gov.uk.
You’ll be required to submit a triggering event notification form. We’ll then work closely with you to make sure you exit the market in a timely and orderly way.

If you’re planning to set up a new scheme, you will need to apply for authorisation of a new master trust. If your scheme is not already registered with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), you will also need to apply to HMRC for registration.
