You have requested the following information:

  1. Number of multi-functional devices (MFDs) and photocopiers at The Pensions Regulator.
  2. Name of incumbent.
  3. Start/end date of contract (if expired, when do you expect to revisit the marketplace).
  4. Details of any extension options.
  5. What framework/route to market used.
  6. Number of regular/desktop printers (in addition to above).
  7. Is there a support contract on above, if yes please state start/end date.
  8. Does the Regulator have a print room.
  9. If yes, name of supplier, number of devices and start/end date of contract, also details of any extension options.
  10. Total annual print/copy volumes including, if applicable your print room, for (a) mono (b) colour.
  11. What print software does the Regulator run.
  12. Your total annual spend on print.

We have answered each question below in turn:

  1. Number of MFDs and photocopiers at The Pensions Regulator: four MFD units.
  2. Name of incumbent: Canon UK Ltd.
  3. Start/end date of contract (if expired, when do you expect to revisit the marketplace): contract start 24 April 2023; contract end 23 April 2026.
  4. Details of any extension options: two optional 12-month extension periods.
  5. What framework/route to market used: CCS Framework RM6174 Lot 2.
  6. Number of regular/desktop printers (in addition to above): one.
  7. Is there a support contract on above, if yes please state start/end date: yes, for the duration of the contract’s term.
  8. Does the Regulator have a print room: no.
  9. If yes, name of supplier, number of devices and start/end date of contract, also details of any extension options: as above.
  10. Total annual print/copy volumes including, if applicable your print room, for (a) mono (b) colour: example TPR 12 months’ usage figures are (a) 48,348 mono and (b) 26,737 colour.
  11. What Print software does the Regulator run: uniFLOW
  12. Your total annual spend on print: print costs are variable but the estimated total contract value for 3+1+1 year agreement is £38,954.39 including VAT, hardware, software, maintenance and consumables.
