Apply for a review of a dashboards compliance or penalty notice
You can apply for a review of our decision to issue a compliance or penalty notice under the Pensions Dashboards Regulations 2022 (or equivalent provisions in Northern Ireland where relevant).
It should take about 20 minutes to fill in this application form. If you do not complete all parts of it, we may not be able to consider it.
Before you start
You’ll need to do a few things:
- Have the compliance or penalty notice ready to hand.
- If making the review application on behalf of more than one recipient of the notice, you will need the details of each applicant and the unique reference number displayed on the version of the notice they received.
- Ensure you have authorisation from each applicant to make this application on their behalf.
- Prepare a statement explaining the reasons for this application.
- Gather supporting documents – for example, records you have kept showing you have complied with your duties, or information illustrating that your pension scheme is exempt from duties under the regulations. Check our guidance on which schemes are in scope.
