You have requested the following information:

1. How many companies use National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) Corporation as a pension provider?
2. How many companies who use NEST, have been reported by NEST to The Pensions Regulator (TPR)?
3. How many companies who have been reported by NEST, have been fined by TPR for not making their timely contributions?

Following on a request for further clarification. You confirmed that you would like us to 'provide just the grand total over the last 5 years' for questions 2 and 3.

Our response

1. How many companies use NEST as a pension provider?
   
   Unfortunately, we don’t hold this information. With the data we do hold it is not possible to get a live or active figure for the number of employers currently using NEST. As a public corporation, NEST is also covered by the Freedom of Information Act. 2. How many companies who use NEST, have been reported by NEST to TPR?
   
   Over the past five years a total of 157,162 employers have been reported by NEST to TPR.
   
   
3. How many companies who have been reported by NEST, have been fined by TPR for not making their timely contributions?
   
   Over the past five years a total of 34,199 employers who have been reported by NEST, have been fined by TPR.
