DC annual membership breakdown 2011 to 2025

In The Pension Regulator’s Defined Contribution (DC) landscape report 2025, there is a breakdown in membership between active and deferred memberships.
Please can you also give the total assets held by those active and deferred memberships for the same historical date range?
On 1 April 2026, you kindly provided the following clarification and additional scope:
Time period is 2011 to 2025 – with the asset breakdown provided annually. Essentially providing a like for like comparison for the below chart but £assets rather than memberships.
In addition, if there is any chance of getting the data broken down by pot size that would be great too.

Following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that we do not hold the information you have requested. Whilst we hold asset values for DC schemes (collected via our mandatory scheme return), we do not have a breakdown of assets by active, deferred or pensioner memberships.
