Request

I am requesting the statistics of the average asset value and membership of defined contribution (DC) schemes categorised into personal, additional voluntary contribution, self invested and stakeholder as well as hybrid schemes, spanning from 2016-2023. Thank you for your consideration.

For personal, stakeholder and self-invested schemes TPR does not collect the kind of information you've requested.

Data on assets and memberships for trust-based DC schemes is available in our 2023 report on the occupational DC landscape in the UK. The annex of this report offers additional data on this.

TPR also collects information on trust-based defined benefit (DB) schemes who provide DC AVC benefits, including asset values and memberships.
