Role

Our MS Dynamics team plays an important role at TPR, sitting within our IT Solutions team, they support and enhance our business-critical Dynamics 365 system ensuring that our portfolio can operate efficiently.

As a D365 Lead Specialist in our team, you will collaborate with others across various teams to design, document and implement enterprise solutions to establish and fulfil customer requirements.

You'll lead the full value stream of the MS Dynamics 365 implementation by:

  • ensuring solution delivery adheres to MS Dynamics SDLC process, enabling fast and safe feature delivery to our users
  • leading development of processes and standards for D365 delivery, focusing on DevOps principles and values
  • lead reliability of production MS Dynamics services to the organisation
  • liaising with support teams to ensure timely responses to issues raised by the business
  • implementing changes to the D365 (Customer Engagement and Marketing) applications with minimal support
  • collaborating with other teams to develop system integrations, data migration and automated testing
  • offering technical advice and mentorship, as well as leading by example through demonstrating TPR competencies and values.

We will also provide you with support and further training to keep you up to date with the newest technologies to develop your skills further.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • lead on administrative tasks for the application
  • lead on identifying application development efficiencies and improvement across the platform
  • coordinate the estimation of work items to achieve the best outcome
  • lead the team in the investigation and prioritisation of problems to resolve defects in production systems
  • allocate and coordinate the resources of the team to meet daily demands of project and BAU work
  • develop and implement the technical roadmap for Dynamics 365, finding opportunities to demonstrate new functionality within the system
  • run deployment of D365 updates, modifications and the adoption of standard methodology policies
  • coordinate the management and control of problems and change within area of responsibility
  • mentor and coach Specialist and Junior Specialist team members.

Essential criteria

  • Able to demonstrate a consistent record in D365 development and architecture.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to tailor communication style to different audiences whether they be technical or business facing in the form of interpersonal, presentation and written communications.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Power Platform (PowerAutomate, PowerApps, Power BI) and its capabilities.
  • Experience of working as part of a team delivering services to a large programme including allocation resources and prioritising work.
  • Experience in Developing and maintaining user documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and end-user documentation.
