We operate a hybrid working model, subject to government guidelines, where regular attendance in our Brighton office is required. Attendance in the office is team and role dependent.

Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Managers to lead initiatives across the TPR Corporate Portfolio including, Web Refactoring, Digital Service Delivery and a Data Collect Portal.

This role is based within our Change Directorate, a valued and committed team of change professionals who together build a resilient, responsive and 'change ready' TPR that maximises its regulatory impact and operates in a way that constructive challenge, teamwork, inclusivity, and continuous improvement are the norm.

We strive to enable TPR to identify and deliver business change, in support of the Corporate Strategy, that is well designed, scalable and 'sticks'. Importantly, to engender a culture where change is positively embraced and where identified business benefits are realised at the earliest opportunity.

Responsibilities

The role of the Senior Project Manager is key to the delivery of change at TPR this role will require you to:

  • be responsible for the delivery of the business case, the setting and approval of budgets
  • control spend against budget, ensuring clarity of investment and maximising ROI and achievement of defined benefits
  • work closely with internal teams and any third party suppliers to ensure outcomes are realised within time, cost and quality tolerances
  • enable an effective delivery methodology in compliance with TPR norms
  • build an effective working relationship with the Project Sponsor and stakeholders
  • establish and operate appropriate governance to support the change, providing transparency and accountability
  • foster an effective team culture and encouraging collaboration and team working
  • satisfy Portfolio Management Office Assurance needs and support the broad portfolio of change at TPR
  • lead project operations — clearly communicate progress and maintain Project Controls

Essential criteria

You will have:

  • demonstrable experience of product implementation, enabling collaboration solutions and product transition activities
  • sufficient leadership experience to clarify ambiguity to articulate focus areas and scope for the remaining project phases
  • experience of complex risk, issue and dependency management across complex stakeholders within a highly governed environment
  • proactively owning and managing change governance, including project boards, PMO and change organisation leadership
  • deep experience of delivering change using Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • experience of planning to demonstrate work breakdown and to support traceability
  • experience of getting the right results from both internal and third party suppliers
  • stakeholder management at all levels and facilitation to be able to conclude discussions and reach consensus where multiple stakeholders may have multiple conflicting views.

This role will deliver Digital products in conjunction with Digital, Data and Technology, therefore experience of Digital product delivery will be essential for your role
