Step 2. Write to your staff

You must write to each member of staff individually to tell them how automatic enrolment applies to them, even if you don't have staff to put in a pension scheme. Do this within six weeks after your duties start date.

The next step will help you complete your declaration of compliance, but this is not the end of the process as you have ongoing duties towards your staff.
